Grab a blanket and enjoy the Bard at the farm this summer – we’re hosting two outdoor productions as part of the Bristol Shakespeare Festival. The bar will be open and (hopefully) the sun will be shining.

Queen Lear: Fri 29th & Sat 30th July, 7pm

A production by The Scullions Theatre Company, this modern adaptation of Shakespeare’s King Lear tells the classic tale of a kingdom divided and a brutal family feud with a twist – the characters’ genders are reversed. This adaption allows for original casting and the opportunity to champion strong women and vulnerable men.

Much Ado About Nothing: Sat 20th & Sunday 21st August, 7pm

Join Sun & Moon Theatre for this hilarious, bold and bittersweet show featuring love, deception, confrontations and second chances. Suitable for all ages, enjoy a perfect evening with Shakespeare’s most enduring romantic comedy packed with razor-sharp wit, live music and a wonderful ensemble of actors.
