Gentle Hatha Flow Yoga with Mischa

Relaxing, easy going classes in a friendly atmosphere which increase flexibility, strength and balance. Give yourself a window in your week where nothing is required of you and you can truly let go.

When: Thursdays 2pm to 3pm 

For: all levels are most welcome- newbies and old hands alike!  (with options to suit our different bodies and abilities)

What to bring: your lovely self and a mat! All other kit provided.

Investment: £72 for block of 9 (£8 per session) or £9 per session for block of 6 or less (to be paid in advance)

About Mischa

Mischa first fell for yoga in 2001 while at university completing a degree in French Literature and Dance. She loved how yoga, unlike the world of dance, cultivates an ethos of looking after yourself and those around you.

Since completing teacher training with Bristol City Yoga in 2010, Mischa has continued to study with teachers from wide-ranging backgrounds and experience and recently received a diploma in Well Woman Yoga with Birthlight. She loves being able to share the endless exploration of yoga with her students.

Classes with Mischa honour the tradition of breath-centred practice and the ancient definition of vinyasa: to proceed step by step. Often guided by the energy of the season, these practices enable the body and mind to let go more fully whilst remaining present and grounded. Gentle moving meditations are often practised, along with other powerful yoga techniques such as mudra (hand gestures), mantra (chanting) and yoga nidra (yogic sleep).

No matter the focus, students are encouraged to honour their own bodies, moving (and modifying) accordingly and experiencing the joy of simply being. During class you will begin to feel and find more freedom in body, mind and spirit and have a laugh or two while you’re at it, so that by the end of the session you can take that lighter, nourished feeling with you off the mat and into your life!
