Wild Outdoors Day is the farm’s annual celebration of nature and all things outdoorsy. The event aims to inspire locals to spend more time outdoors experiencing the wonders of nature. The live music stage, BBQ, bar, games and activities all ensure there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Throughout the day you can enjoy a wide range of activities including story-crafting workshops with The Wild of the Words, campfire cooking with the Ape Project and magic potion making and outdoor games with our very own outdoor play team. You will also be able to discover what lurks in the pond with renowned naturalist Ed Drewitt and meet some beautiful birds of prey from John Dowling Falconry.
Whilst the children are busy exploring the wildness, you can take your pick from some delicious morsels; including vegan comfort food from Kabala Kitchen, tasty soups, stews and salad boxes from the City Farm Café or a homemade burger from the barby. Take a pew on the straw bale bar and relax into the afternoon.
Keeping you entertained on our live music stage will be the vintage-inspired swing band, Paper Moon, as well as some rock surf instrumentals courtesy of The Dukes of Mumbai plus the new choir on the block, Break Out Voices, and some special guests. You will definitely want to get grooving!
Entrance fee: £3 adults, £1 children under 12
