Silver Clay Jewellery Beginners Workshop – with artist Rebecca Miller: POSTPONED

Learn how to cast natural objects to make a beautiful fine silver pendant with the magical material of silver clay.

In this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to make moulds from natural objects collected from around the farm and use them to cast a pendant which you can take home and cherish.

Guided by artist and jewellery maker Rebecca Miller, workshops are kept small and friendly and last 2.5–3 hours. By the end of the course you will have produced a beautiful piece of jewellery to take home and enjoy.

What we’ll cover:

  • an introduction to silver clay and its properties
  • how to make a mould from a natural object
  • how to decorate and use cutters to make a pendant
  • how to fire and finish your magical creation

What’s included:

  • enough silver clay to make one or two small pendants
  • an organza bag for your pendant
  • use of tools and equipment

About the tutor:

Bristol-based designer-maker Rebecca uses silver clay to create unique and one of a kind pieces of jewellery. She started her business in 2014, and holds a diploma in Art Clay.
