Instant Japanese Pickle Workshops (Autumn Fair activity)

at 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm

Masuyo Newman with her picklesLearn how to make quick Japanese style pickles with expert Masuyo Newman. You will use autumnal vegetables grown on the farm and take your jar home.

Masuyo will share her recipes of simple Japanese pickles with you:

  • Tsuke-mono – Japanese preserved vegetables
  • Asa-zuke – very quick pickles which can be eaten straight away. No need to ferment

Duration: 1 hour

Cost: £3 per person

How to book: come to our Autumn Fair and sign up on the day. There will be volunteers with sign up sheets.
