Stained glass angel figureDesigning and making your own stained glass panels can be very rewarding. Learn the skills needed and have access to the tools and materials required in a friendly and supportive environment here at the City Farm. Courses for both beginners and intermediates are run during the year.

 


Stained Glass Workshop for Beginners

The course will introduce and teach the techniques of stained glass and copper foil. The students will learn how to cut glass and assemble their piece using lead or copper foil techniques.

Start date: Friday 18th January 2019
End date: Friday 29th March 2019
Time: 1pm to 3.15pm
Sessions: 10 
Cost: £113 (may be reduced for those on a means tested benefit – see this page
For: No experience necessary. Please note that you must be over 18 years old to enrol on a WEA course.

Stained Glass Workshop for Intermediates

A more advanced course for students to develop their skills in stained glass and copper foil. The course will offer a chance for students to expand design ideas and how to implement these, as well as introduce new techniques such as fusing, glass painting and restoration.

End date: Friday 29th March 2019
Time: 9.30am to 12.30pm
