We run a range of design, pattern making, and sewing courses and workshops in a friendly and supportive environment. 


Pattern Making and Sewing for Beginners

Whether you want to brush up your sewing skills or start from scratch, get creative with this beginners group and work on a series of projects using both hand and machine sewing.

Start date: Tuesday 15th January 2019
End date: Tuesday 26th March 2019
Time: 10am to 12 noon
Sessions: 10 
Cost: £74 (may be reduced for those on a means tested benefit – see this page)
For: No skills or experience necessary. Please note you must be over 18 years old to enrol on a WEA course

Pattern Making and Sewing for Intermediates

On this course you will learn to independently create your own dressmaking or craft items from pattern to sewing completion. The tutor will aim to create a supportive community environment where everyone is equal and can learn at their own pace.

End date: Tuesday 26th March 2019
Time: 12.30pm to 2.30pm
Sessions: 10
