Due to the amount of interest Mini Potters had for their eight-week ceramic courses earlier in the year, they are starting a new shorter four-week course here at the farm.
Through the course you will be sculpting with clay and creating pinch pots. Rolling out clay slabs and creating surface pattern using coloured slips and textures. Decorating pinch pots and creating sculptural slab built forms using work made in the previous sessions. You will be exploring shape and form through coiling and sculpting decorating with slips and glazes.
The sessions are designed to be relaxed and informal and will give you the opportunity to create interesting and unique pieces.
Start date: Thursday 19th September 2019
End date: Thursday 10th October 2019
Time: 7pm to 9pm
Cost: £80 – that’s £20 per person for each session and includes all materials and firing.
For: adults – suitable for beginners and also those with previous experience.
