Release & Replenish Yoga Practice
In the first half
Move your body to some tunes!
You will move your body between perpetual movement, rest & release, to release stagnation, sluggishness, stress and tension out of the system.
In between music tracks you will take moments of active recovery. Connecting to the sensations created. Assessing and Absorbing. Shedding the layers that prevent us from moving forward.
In the second half
Marinate in stillness, whilst the body does its thing.
Longer held, supported shapes (yin yoga postures), slow breathing exercises and meditation/yoga Nidra magic! By resting, we reprogram the neurological pathways in the brain and give ourselves permission to stay in the body. We feel the sensations and meet ourselves as we are in relationship to the world around us.
