Learning Together is an intergenerational project to bring older people together with younger people sharing skills and activities, all supported by volunteers aged 50 or more.

The project runs until summer 2017 and its aim is to encourage older people to get involved in the community by sharing their skills and learning (such as craft or local history) in a supported environment.

The project’s first event was providing craft activities at the City Farm’s 2016 Winter Fair and sessions were held to practice crafts and for the participants to get to know each other.

If you would like to learn more about the project or know an older person who may benefit, please contact Julie Thorpe – email julie.thorpe@windmillhillcityfarm.org.uk or phone 0117 963 3252.
