Windmill Hill Market has gone weekly, and it’s big news – even ITV thinks so!

Our little local market has been featured on ITV News, and we couldn’t be prouder. Although the weather was something to be desired, ITV News came to join us at Windmill Hill Market to see the wonderful community we’ve built here at the Farm.

Donning their umbrellas, they interviewed several of our market regulars, as well as newcomers who had come down for the first time.  In addition to praising the selection of food and local produce on offer, patrons had plenty of lovely things to say about the farm itself, urging others to visit our award-winning café and, of course, our farm animals.

During the segment, the broadcaster remarks on the vast number of people we welcome to the farm on a market day and how the popularity of the monthly market has encouraged us to increase it to a weekly occurrence.

The broadcaster goes on to interview Ben Flight, CEO of The Real Olive Company, to discuss their new sponsorship of the market and Dave Partridge, Owner of The Farm Tap and Bruhaha, as he discusses their winning partnership with the Farm.

Finally, the segment finishes by speaking to Steve Sayers, our CEO, as he explains the Farm’s fascinating history. He goes on to explain our charity status, including ways people can support us with donations or by volunteering with us.
