Visiting us during social distancing restrictions

Here are answers to some of the questions you may have about visiting us whilst social distancing restrictions apply: 

Are you open during lockdown?

The nursery, café, farm shop, gardens, allotments and play areas will stay open to the public, 7 days a week – 9am till 5pm.

How will you help us maintain social distancing?

There will be signage and fencing to guide you around one-way systems, If the site becomes over-crowded, please be aware that you may be asked to wait.

Is the café open?

The City Farm Café will be open for takeaway food and drinks. You can enter the café (please wear your mask) via the farm shop, which will stay open for shopping, and order your takeout food at the counter. Picnic tables and undercover seating will be spaced out around the farm. The café hours are 9.30am to 4pm, 7 days a week, with the kitchen closing at 3pm.

Will the café accept cash?

No. Payment by card only please.

Is the farm shop open?

The farm shop is open 9.30am till 4pm, 7 days a week. You can also order online for collection.

Are the toilets open?

The toilets in the farmyard are open.

Do you have hand washing facilities?

There are hand washing facilities in the farmyard. Please wash your hands regularly.

Is the play area open?

Yes it is, with a one-way system in and out. The entrance will be alongside the kiosk and the exit will be through the gate by Mini Potters.

Are the farm and gardens open?

The farmyard will be open to the public, entering via reception and exiting via the path at the side of the café.
