Volunteer vacancies

To ensure we keep our community safe during the Coronavirus Pandemic, the farm is currently closed and we are not recruiting any new volunteers. Once we can re-open, we will continue to need volunteers to help us keep, so watch this space.

Farm Support Volunteer and Gardening Support Volunteer

Do you want to share your passion for gardening or farming with others? Our helper volunteers work with the Health and Social Care Team to ensure sessions run smoothly and help us to provide greater personalise sessions. You will help enable adults with support needs access the therapeutic benefits of the outdoors. These roles are varied and could include; helping someone mucking out the pigs, plant our seedlings as well as helping people to make tea at break time! Outdoor Learning Team Volunteers

Do you want to help children and young people to access the outdoors? Come and join our expert staff to help their sessions run smoothly. These are varied roles that can include washing up after pizza making in our outdoor kitchen to talking to child about what they’ve found after pond dipping! For more information about the different roles and sessions our volunteers help with, please see the information sheet below.
