Windmill Hill City Farm is a registered charity. We do not charge for entry, so every donation we receive helps us keep operating as a community facility for the enjoyment of the public. Donations, whether large or small, are gratefully received and every penny is put to good use.
As you can imagine, the impact COVID-19 has had on the farm has been immense. It’s affected the people that rely on its services, the staff it employs, its finances and its future.
Built by the local community back in 1976, the farm has had some rocky times but has stood side-by-side with local people throughout, to come back stronger each time.
The farm relies on the public using its services to fund it, with 90% of income coming from its café, room hire, school visits, events and the nursery. This has all been lost over the last few months.
We are now beginning to re-build and look to the future and we are going to need YOUR help to make sure the farm is still here for future generations to enjoy.
