About the team

We are a friendly and dedicated team of cleaning and caretaking professionals, based in the facilities, farm and gardens department of Windmill Hill City Farm. This unique community setting is one of the UK’s leading city farms where you have full access to all the resources it has to offer.

About you

You will be passionate about cleaning and community! If you have experience of caretaking, cleaning, hospitality and/or animal care, then you have transferrable skills and we’d love to hear from you. You will be fully trained to fulfil the role, but prior experience will help you secure the job.

We need reliable sessional workers to cover for our permanent staff absences and holidays on an ad hoc basis. This is a hands-on role, with every team member pulling together to maintain a clean, safe and inviting indoor and outdoor environment for the children and adults who use our services and for the public who use our facilities.

Essential criteria: You must have experience of cleaning to a high standard, preferably in a public environment and be able to be flexible and adaptable.

Desirable criteria: Experience of working with animals
