THE ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND
The Adventure Playground was opened in 1983 and is one of 5 Playgrounds in Bristol. It consists of an outdoor space with timber play structures and an indoor activity centre. We open six days a week offering a child-centred, challenging, stimulating and safe environment in which to meet and play.

We actively support the right of children and young people to access freely chosen play opportunities and to be consulted in matters relating to them. Playground users help to design, build and transform their own play space using a wide variety of materials and plenty of ingenuity.

A team of experienced play workers and volunteers are on hand to support and enable children and young people to shape and
enjoy a changing environment for imaginative, social, creative and physical play. Through this they are able to learn and develop their skills, build confidence, independence and self esteem. We also advise and support parents and carers who come to the playground
The playground is a popular meeting place for hundreds of local children and young people. It is used mainly by 8 - 14 year olds but under 8's are welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult.

Playday on College Green
A
fantastic free event for children and young people with lots of
activities such as canoeing, climbing wall, circus skills, music,
dance etc. A coach will be going from the Farm please book in
advance or you can join us there.

An
ideal opportunity to visit a large working farm in Wales with a
variety of animals, woodland walks, adventure playground, tractor
rides, shop, café, and a hands-on outdoor den building workshop.
