The Adventure Playground was opened in 1983 and is one of five playgrounds in Bristol. It consists of an outdoor space with timber play structures and an indoor activity centre. We open six days a week offering a child-centred, challenging, stimulating and safe environment in which to meet and play. Opening Hours We actively support the right of children and young people to access freely-chosen play opportunities and to be consulted in matters relating to them. Playground users help to design, build and transform their own play space using a wide variety of materials and plenty of ingenuity. 
The playground is a popular meeting place for hundreds of local children and young people. It is used mainly by 8 - 14 year olds but under 8s are welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult. We are ‘Open Access' meaning children and young people over 8 years old can come and go as they choose. Our Ofsted registration number is EY426285
