Voting Membership

If you would like to have a say in what the Farm does, how it develops and how it is governed you can join as a voting member. As a voting member you have certain rights and obligations:

  • the right and expectation that you vote at members' meetings including the AGM
  • the right to become a trustee
  • an obligation to guarantee the company to the value of £1 should it be wound up with debts
  • an obligation to support the charitable objects of the company.
  • access to certain services and facilities (eg nursery, allotments)

To be a member you must live within the geographical ‘area of benefit' of the charity (roughly a 2-mile radius of the farm, please enquire for exact boundaries) and pay an annual fee (Adult £5, Family £10, Senior Citizen £2, under 18 £2, one-parent family £5). You also need to complete a membership form.
