History of the Malago

The Malago was a important river in Bedminster. When it rained in Hartcliffe and Knowle the water would flow and go into the Malago and it would flood the area around the Malago.
There were some factories beside the Malago. They chucked some of their waste through pipes  like this one which leads into the Malago.
