Cricket At Shoscombe – Pre Match View

I took this photo just before the start of a cricket match I was involved in at Shoscombe in Somerset. I was delighting in the location of the ground, set in the rolling countryside of the Mendips, and wanted to take a photo of it. As that didn’t quite fit in with the playtime theme, I hit on the idea of putting the stumps in the foreground; I was glad I did.
