Life is Precious
This is taken with film as opposed to being a digital image. It was taken many years ago on my allotment probably in very early Spring. We were transferring frogspawn from our water butts to the pond and I tried to catch my mate in the act so to speak.

It was taken on a grey day and is a little under exposed and lacking in definition to be a great photo technically speaking. However, I find it an incredibly powerful and inspiring image; somehow it speaks to me of the preciousness of life – the way in which his hands carefully almost lovingly hold the frogspawn:- very powerful and full of hope and inspiration. Consequently, despite its technical limitations, I couldn’t bear to leave it out.
