I started taking an active interest in photography when I had to give-up
work through illness. My first camera was an early video camcorder on
which I made films of my every-day life. I had an MX 10 machine that
allowed me to edit my videos. It gave me hours of pleasure but, like
everything, it stopped working. By that time digital still cameras had
become affordable so I bought one. This lead to me becoming involved
with the Picture Yourself project which has been an excellent learning
experience as well as a lot of fun.
