Windmill Hill City Farm regularly runs projects run by and for members of the local community.

Our current projects are:
 Grow It Eat It Funded by Ecominds, anyone who receives or has received support for mental health problems from their GP or from a Secondary Mental Health Service can become involved in this project to learn to grow and cook tasty healthy food.
Moving On
Funded by the John Paul Getty Foundation, this project assists people recovering from addictions through a volunteering programme of activity at the Farm.
Active Citizens
Windmill Hill City Farm has secured funding from the Nominet Trust to undertake an exciting new project called Active Citizens. The purpose of the project is to use the internet to help people to connect with local issues and each other; to take action to improve their lives and enhance their community. Recently completed projects include:
Groundwork The Community Space Groundwork Big Lottery Fund provided £50,000 to improve and enhance enjoyment of the grounds of the Farm, by making them more accessible, attractive and relaxing. The project was completed in summer 2011.
