LIFELONG LEARNING AT THE FARM
Windmill Hill City Farm is part of a local Life Long Learning Network.
This network is made up of any local organisations that can contribute to adult and community learning opportunities, including schools, colleges, voluntary organisations, community groups, local people or workers.
Meetings have been attended by Bristol Community Education, Windmill Hill City Farm, Southville Centre, City of Bristol College, Memories of Bedminster, Industrial Training Organisation and Ashton Park School.
Life Long Learning Networks enable local providers to join together to co-ordinate and develop lifelong learning in their neighbourhood.
There are already four networks: St George, Whitefield (Fishponds), Knowle, Hartcliffe and Withywood. These networks have benefited by sharing resources, carrying out joint publicity and holding collaborative events.
We will respond to local need, any ideas you have for courses are welcomed.
