This course is for complete beginners - have a go at creative textile projects such as appliqué, patchwork, embroidery by hand or machine, felt making, silk painting, crochet and knitting.
A relaxed and fun environment in which to develop painting and drawing skills. An accessible class catering for all levels of ability, where learning takes place through demonstration and individual practice, with an emphasis on trying new techniques.
Learn about the basic skills involved in making silver and copper jewellery and produce wearable pieces of your own design. Techniques include: soldering, sawing, basic forming, texturing and finishing.
This course will allow you to improve existing skills and knowledge of tools and materials. Produce a wearable piece of jewellery of your own design using techniques and processes already learnt. Please bring sketch pad.
A course for beginners who wish to learn about making a stained glass panel, which also includes techniques for the intermediates such as fusing and painting on glass.
This course is for anyone who would like to be able to make their own dressmaking patterns. You will learn some easy pattern cutting techniques and there will be a chance to copy an old favourite garment.
