As a UK online Centre we provide a host of different opportunities for people to learn. This includes free access to the following online activities:

myguide is a website which provides a simple, intuitive gateway to the internet, offering a free, easy-to-use email account and search facility. Users can personalise and keep their settings, change colours and font size, and choose to use the 'hear it' function which reads the text out on the screen.

There are a number of courses and tutorials available to learners on the myguide website including the following:

myguide - Skills Checkpoints - there are three stages, first steps, next steps and moving on skills checkpoints. These are multiple choice questions against which you can test your ICT knowledge. 

UK online centres Skills for Life Tools - Initial Assessment – This assessment is designed to measure word and number skills. It will indicate a user's strengths and weaknesses, and help you to plan activities to develop their skills.

Government Services Online

As part of our partnership with UK online we provide access and training in how to use local and national Government online services. This includes; applying for tax disks online, finding courses, accessing information on health issues, job and careers advice, bidding for council housing etc.
