Archiving Engineer With a 35 year history the Farm has accrued many, many files and records – some of which are no longer valuable or relevant. They need to be sorted and those that are useful properly archived.
Purpose
- To reduce the 35-year-old paper mountain that engulfs the Farm Office.
Main duties
- Sort through the backlog of archived materials to determine what should be kept and what can be destroyed.
- Undertake filing of retained materials in an organised manner.
Person specification
- A very well organised person with a methodical, thorough approach.
- Capable of discretion and of handling confidential materials.
- Good sense of what historical documents are valuable to an organisation.
- Strong resilience to dusty files.
Time commitment required It is estimated that this post will require up to 4 hours per week over quite a few weeks. The work must be carried out on site and will require input from staff team members.
