Social Fundraiser
In the mix of fundraising activity that the Farm undertakes are the social events, organised outside the Farm, that serve to raise both funds and friends. These are made to happen by small teams of creative and energetic volunteers

Purpose
  • To help to organise social events with the purpose of raising funds for the organisation
Main duties
  • Contributing to fundraising ideas.
  • Identifying, contacting and booking venues and entertainment
  • Helping to develop, produce and distribute promotional materials
  • On-the-day help eg ‘on the door' or ‘behind the bar'
Person specification
  • A good people person with creative ideas about how to get lots of people to events
  • Well organised with a ‘make it happen' approach
Time commitment required
It is estimated that this post will require around 2 hours per month on a regular basis with additional time needed in the run-up to an event and in time helping on the day. The events are likely to be at evenings and weekends with the work based largely away from the Farm site.
