General Manager (Hartcliffe City Farm)

Location: Hartcliffe City Farm, Lampton Avenue, Hartcliffe, Bristol, BS13 0QH
Days/Hours: 30 hours per week worked flexibly across 4 or 5 days (including occasional weekend work)
Contract: permanent, part-time
Salary range: £32,370 – £34,651 pa [FTE] pro rata (dependent on experience)

Hartcliffe City Farm is looking for an energetic person to be its General Manager, leading day-to-day running of the site, overseeing a small team of dedicated people. The ideal candidate will have strong ties to Hartcliffe and be able to engage local people in actively supporting the farm. They will be able to manage people and budgets and have a good knowledge of running a public space – from minor repairs to legal compliance duties.

The role is one with lots of variety with a mix of hands-on and desk-based work. You could be feeding the animals or writing a funding bid, managing social media posts or liaising with community groups, all in the same day.  If you are passionate about developing community space in Hartcliffe, and have the skills to lead a small team, we would love to hear from you.
