Hours: 30 hours per week (includes weekends)
Salary: £15,375 - £18,450 (FTE) pro rota per annum

The popular, bustling café is the social heart of this thriving community organisation serving a mix of healthy, environmentally aware, delicious and affordable food. The Head Chef is responsible for the day-to-day operation and promotion of the Farm Café. Duties include cooking, menu preparation, stock ordering and staff supervision. You will also provide lunches and teas for the Farm's day-care nursery.

The post requires:

• a minimum of 3 years experience of working within a similar ‘busy café' environment and a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position
• at least Level 2 NVQ in Catering and Hospitality
• café finance and marketing knowledge
• an enthusiastic and flexible team player
• the ability to cook - this is an essential requirement

Experience of preparing meal plans and catering for a nursery or similar would be a distinct advantage.

The Reception Administrator will oversee the smooth day to day running of Windmill Hill City Farm's developing Visitor Centre and Reception. They will be responsible for booking people onto courses, managing all room bookings and maintaining the membership database.

Other responsibilities include providing administrative support to other departments and managing petty cash.
