Our History

Started in 1976, as a result of demands by local residents that derelict land in the Bedminster area of Bristol be used for the benefit of local people, Windmill Hill City Farm has grown over 30 years to deliver more than 50 services each week and host more than 200,000 visits every year.

Our Future

The Farm has recently come through a period of financial crisis and through the commitment, dedication and generosity of our staff and supporters has secured funds until the end of this financial year.  The Management Committee and staff are now looking to the next year to build on this work and secure the Farm’s future in a sustainable way.
